Wilco led the way with 45 points on 10 votes. For a short time My Morning Jacket held the lead in points but they fell short on the last two ballots received. MMJ received the most votes (12) for the week followed by The Decemberists who received 11 votes. They both topped Wilco in that stat, but Wilco had 5 first place votes which was the deciding factor in points. Also moving on is Meat Puppets with a really strong showing. Ryan Adams, Cracker, Lucinda Williams and The Avett Brothers round out The Top 8 this week. Band Of Horses and Whiskeytown fell short and perhaps the biggest surprise was how The Jayhawks faltered. Their 9 points on 4 votes garnered 12th place for the week, not enough to move on.
